Abstract
결론
본 증례는 연세대학교병원 소아치과에 내원한 환아 중 상악 전치부에 twinning 형성에 대
한 보고로 임상조사 및 문헌을 고찰하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다.
1. Twinning은 매우 드문 치아 형태이상이나 방사선 사진을 통해 진단이 가능하다.
2. 영구치 twinning은 악궁에 총생, 전돌, 인접치의 이소맹출등 교정적인 문제를 야기할 수
있다.
3. 영구치 twinning 발견시에는 이런 문제를 방지하기 위해 발치 및 교정치료를 시행하여
야 한다.

As one of the developmental disturbance in shape of teeth, a twinning has very rare
frequency in permanent teeth.
Because it is possible to diagnose the twinning by use of the radiograph, it is very
important to detect this anomaly early by careful examining the radiographs.
The twinning produces several orthodontic problem such as crowding, protrusion,
ectopic eruption of adjacent teeth. Therefore it is necessary, in proper time, the
extraction and orthodontic treatment should perform.
